AO5 Create the graphs


Make sure you have at least three different types of graphs. Describe why each type of graph has been used in a separate document.


Bar charts are used to compare different amounts of several items in a series. Its height indicates the number of units being counted.

Line graphs are used to plot changes over time or other continuous data. Most suitable when comparing one value as it changes over time with another value. For example changes in temperature.

Pie charts are used to show the data as a percentage of the whole.
